Reality Bites? ‘Real Housewives’ Star Jacqueline Laurita Relists NJ Mansion

Reality bites: “Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum Jacqueline Laurita hasn’t been able to sell her Franklin Lakes, NJ, mansion. She and husband Chris Laurita recently relisted their property at the reduced price of $1.95 million.

In 2014, they listed the home for $2.85 million. In 2017, the price was trimmed to $2.78 million before the home was taken off the market, NJ.com reported at the time. Later in the year, the mansion came back on the market for $2.3 million, but still didn’t land a buyer. Perhaps the reality TV star will find some traction with the new lowered price, which is more in line with the area pricing—the current median home price in Franklin Lakes is $1.1 million.

Often featured in the reality TV series when Laurita was a large part of the Jersey drama, her home offers the chance to live the life of a real housewife of New Jersey.

Built in 2001, the six-bedroom, 5.5-bath Colonial comes with a two-story entry. The great room features custom moldings, a fireplace, and wet bar. The spacious kitchen includes a commercial range, wine fridge, and eating nook. Upstairs, the master suite boasts two walk-in closets, an oversize tub, and shower.

The finished basement features a slew of rooms, including a gym, wine cellar and card room, an office, and a full bath.

Outside, there are limestone walkways, a roomy deck with barbecue, and a large yard. Intruders beware: The security system is equipped with night-vision cameras.

One of the original cast members of “RHONJ,” Laurita wasn’t part of Season 6, but returned for Season 7. As someone who had dealt with foreclosure threats, she was able to add her take on the travails of fellow cast mate and frenemy Teresa Giudice.

Then, the 48-year-old announced that she wouldn’t return to the show the following season.

“I think they feel I no longer fit in with the group,” she said of the Bravo network in 2017.

Laurita will soon be launching TheLookOver.com, a beauty, wellness, and lifestyle blog, according to Bravo.
